Dermopigmentation of the areola

Dermopigmentation of mammary areola is one of the most requested treatments after breast augmentation surgery. This procedure usually leaves very visible scars around the areola that, thanks to the techniques of paramedical tattooing, can be successfully minimised without side effects. Dermopigmentation, lends itself particularly well to cover scars, it can be applied to many cases of breast imperfections: periareolari scars (scars that surround the areola) due to augmentation, inverted "T" scars, caused by mastopexy; ovaliform scars caused by drainage tubes, scarring of the areola after a mastectomy (single or bilateral areola reconstruction) hypochromiaic areola (with repigmentation of the same) and small areola (the same magnification). Only in rare cases, you can perform this work with normal pigments. We generally recommend the use of bioabsorbable pigments (paramedical micropigmentation).

In the next PHOTO GALLERY you can see a selection of dermopigmentation treatments of mammary areola tattooing.

What is Dermopigmentation?

More generally,
it is the tattooing of a series of interventions into the broader concept of paramedical tattooing. This is a specialization of the inoculation of coloured pigments in the dermis. The difference lies in the application techniques, equipment, the molecular composition of the pigments in the areas of the body treated and the reasons behind this particular choice. Dermopigmentation is often a good remedy for cosmetic depigmenting caused by scarring, for example, a mastectomy. However cleft lip scars, vitiligo, scars from facelifts can also be significantly improved with dermopigmentation. More and more cosmetic surgeons believe that this form of aesthetic tattooing can play an important role complementary to cosmetic surgery. Ten years ago I decided to pursue my studies in paramedical tattooing to meet the increasing demand for cooperation from cancer centers, private clinics and cosmetic surgeons. In fact, micro-pigmentation is often used as a complementary treatment to surgery for repigmenting scars following a breast augmentation. It is also effective on scars from surgical removal and subsequent reconstruction of the breast. A ring repigmented areola can be created around the nipple. It is also used to help people psychologically due to disease or aggressive therapy with partial or total loss of hair, where paramedical tattooing is used to resolve the imperfections. Alopecia, scars, vitiligo, asphalt tattoos are just a few examples of problems solved with micro-pigmentation.
