Dermopigmentation of the skin
A solution to vitiligo patches and discoloration of the skin
Though it may seem inconvenient to partially color skin with a substance that can not lighten or darken, dermopigmentation is an aesthetic solution for people with obvious discoloration of the skin such as hypochromatic spots and vitiligo, as these imperfections do not have effective remedies. Vitiligo patches are in fact due to the destruction of skin cells that produce melanin, this lack of melanin creates obvious color variations between areas of the skin with and without melanin. It has the psychological effect of creating a sense of deep unease, especially if located in areas of the body which are continuously exposed such as the face and neck. Thanks to dermopigmentation of the skin it is now possible to greatly alleviate unsightly vitiligo, hypochromatic spots and skin blemishes in general. Depending on the size of vitiligo and non-pigmented spots on the skin, the specialist can decide whether to use bioabsorbable pigments or convential pigment.
In the next PHOTO GALLERY you can see a selection of the dermopigmentation treatments of the skin to resolve insightly vitiligo, skin spots and discoloration of the skin in general.
What is Dermopigmentation?
More generally, it is the tattooing of a series of interventions into the broader concept of paramedical tattooing. This is a specialization of the inoculation of coloured pigments in the dermis. The difference lies in the application techniques, equipment, the molecular composition of the pigments in the areas of the body treated and the reasons behind this particular choice. Dermopigmentation is often a good remedy for cosmetic depigmenting caused by scarring, for example, a mastectomy. However cleft lip scars, vitiligo, scars from facelifts can also be significantly improved with dermopigmentation. More and more cosmetic surgeons believe that this form of aesthetic tattooing can play an important role complementary to cosmetic surgery. Ten years ago I decided to pursue my studies in paramedical tattooing to meet the increasing demand for cooperation from cancer centers, private clinics and cosmetic surgeons. In fact, micro-pigmentation is often used as a complementary treatment to surgery for repigmenting scars following a breast augmentation. It is also effective on scars from surgical removal and subsequent reconstruction of the breast. A ring repigmented areola can be created around the nipple. It is also used to help people psychologically due to disease or aggressive therapy with partial or total loss of hair, where paramedical tattooing is used to resolve the imperfections. Alopecia, scars, vitiligo, [asphalt tattoos] are just a few examples of problems solved with micro-pigmentation.
